Bro, sit down and hold on tight, because what I found out today from the guys at Fane made my jaw drop! Between June 12 and 14, 2026, the 17th edition of the European Archaeology Days is happening. Over 5,000 activities in more than 30 countries, bro! Under the auspices of the French Ministry of Culture, coordinated by the National Institute for Preventive Archaeological Research (INRAP), and with the patronage of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe. We Romanians have been in the game since 2020, through the National Institute of Heritage (INP). And guess what? We've got stuff to show: exhibitions, guided tours, interactive workshops, conferences, demonstrations. So we're not just digging, we're explaining what we found. Good for them!

Now let me tell you why I'm pissed off. At Tilișca, Sibiu County, it's the 70th anniversary of research at the Dacian fortress. Seventy years, bro! If someone had told me 70 years ago that I'd have a 2008 BMW, I'd have laughed. But look, the Dacians had fortresses when our ancestors... eh, never mind. And at Noviodunum, it's Open Doors Day. There, on the banks of the Danube, there were Romans, Dacians, Turks, everyone. Now it's quiet, just dogs barking. In Constanța, at the National Museum of History and Archaeology, they're doing creative workshops. And at the National Museum of Romanian History (MNIR), there's an interactive workshop 'The Thinker of Cernavodă and His Partner'. So you bring the kids to see how our ancestors thought. Also there, the conference 'Ancient Monetary Treasures' – because money has always existed, only now we spend it on crap. And at the National Museum of Transylvanian History, 'The Little Discoverer of Great Ages'. My boy Brian would love to dig for treasure, but he prefers TikTok. Too bad.

But wait, that's not all! On the same weekend, June 12-14, the fifth edition of the Sounds of Oradea Festival is also taking place. Internationally renowned artists, premiering in Romania. The artistic director, Catalan conductor David Gimenez Carreras, said the program combines high quality with entertainment. Shows at the Oradea State Philharmonic, Oradea Fortress, and the Regina Maria Theater. Friday night: Viennese operetta concert, Saturday: Ennio Morricone's music, Sunday: piano recital by Venezuelan Gabriela Montero. Man, I look at this and think: in Berceni, what do we have? A BMW with a sport exhaust and manele at full blast. Not saying that's not a culture too.

And so you don't think I've been slacking off, if you're a farmer or food industry entrepreneur, here's good news. Starting June 15, 2026, you can submit online to AFIR projects for purchasing solar panels. European funds, bro, 265 million euros! The guide was published on June 9, and applications are submitted between June 15 and August 14. Funding is 100% non-reimbursable, up to 200,000 euros per project for farmers and 300,000 for processors. So that money never goes back to Brussels. I'd get into it myself, but Mioara says I don't have the papers. Well, if the BMW is under Relu's name... we'll see.

And to end on a light note: astrologically, the weekend of June 13-14 is favorable for Aries and Sagittarius. They'll have surprises in love and increased confidence, according to the horoscope in Newsweek Romania. I'm a Leo, bro, so I don't fit. But I don't need a horoscope, because Mioara loves me anyway. Alright, I'm off to see if the BMW starts, because after hearing about so many events, I'm kind of thirsty for culture.
