Man, sit down and take a deep breath, because I've got news that'll make you realize Romanian football is still breathing! Timișoara, bro, the city that "breathes" football, is getting ready to have not one, but TWO brand-new arenas by 2026.

The first one, "Eroii Revoluției," is almost ready: 10,000 seats, €23 million. You'd think it's a jewel – concrete foundation, metal structure, tensioned membrane roof that lets in natural light. What more can I say, category 4, approved by UEFA and IFAB. Poli Timișoara, which returned to Liga 2, will play there. Dan Alexa's team will have top-notch infrastructure, not like us in Berceni, on that pothole-ridden synthetic turf.

The second one, even cooler: in place of the old "Dan Păltinișanu" stadium, which has already been razed to the ground, the National Investment Company wants to build a 32,000-seat arena, the biggest in the country after the National Arena. The design takes 8 months, then two years of construction, and costs exceed €140 million. I swear, it'd be better to spend that money on health and schools, but hey, football is religion around here!

Now, I heard that the floodlight system and turnstiles from "Dan Păltinișanu" were moved to Reșița. Yeah, yeah, to Reșița, bro – that ghost town in Caraș-Severin, where mining died and people are leaving like crazy. At least now they have a stadium with floodlights, maybe the area will come to life. And 13,000 of the 32,400 seats were given to other fields in Timiș county. That's what I call recycling!

Now, let's be serious: with all the new stadiums being built across the country, from Cluj to Timișoara, I wonder when it'll be Berceni's turn. Here we have Fane's field, with cracked turf and a wooden stand. Come on, bro, we deserve a 10,000-seat arena too, not just those guys from Transylvania and Banat!
