Bro, hold on tight 'cause I'm telling you what the Bucharest City Hall did now! On Tuesday, June 30, the General Council voted on a new regulation for towing illegally parked cars. But, bro, the High Court of Cassation and Justice said back in 2015 that these decisions can't be made by local councils, only by the Ministry of Internal Affairs. And what do they do? They do it their way, 'cause hey, we're smart. Now the regulation is null and void, and all the fines and fees we paid – we'll claim them back in court. The City Hall will pay compensation from our budget, all of ours. Mioara said: "See, I told you, don't park by the curb or you'll find your car stolen for big money!" And look, the fine we paid for not finding a spot – it was illegal from the start! Now they've introduced new fees, abolished the old decisions, and created a public parking service managed by the Municipal Parking Company. What can I say, there'll be queues at the courthouse like for bread in '89.

But that's not all, bro! Disabled people in Bucharest, who've been waiting six months for a 500 lei monthly incentive, are only now starting to get the money. The court forced the Social Assistance Directorate to pay, but what do they do? They only give an advance of 250 lei for June, while minors get 1,000 lei on the spot. What a support! I have a neighbor with a kid in a wheelchair – he said that's why he doesn't watch the news anymore, 'cause it depresses him. And me, who complains about the installments on my 2008 BMW, at least I have legs to walk. But even here it's a mess: each city hall does its own thing, 'cause there's no national strategy. So, bro, we're carrying the disabled on our backs.

And to top it all off, over 1,000 trees fell in the capital during the storm from Tuesday to Wednesday. Landscape architect Diana Culesu says trees break because we cut their roots during works – curbs, poles, Net City – and then we also prune the crown so they fall. Seriously, I have a tree in front of my building that looks like a broom from all the trimming. And she says we keep dead trees in the city for up to 10 years! Instead of making the Green Register – a map of all trees – and hiring specialists who can read the "body language of trees," as she calls it. Only Sector 1 City Hall does that. The rest, nothing. It's estimated there are over 1.5 million trees in Bucharest, but nobody knows exactly. How could they, if we don't have a Register? So we stand under branches and pray they don't fall on our heads.

That's our Bucharest, bro: cars towed illegally, disabled with half the money, trees falling on our heads, and everyone plays deaf. Who pays? Us, the suckers, as always. Alright, I'm gonna call Fane to have a beer and forget about it all. You stay chill, 'cause it can't get worse – or maybe it can.
